eCARE™ vs Telephone Reassurance Phone Systems

Database Systems Corp. (DSC) is a leading provider of services and products related to the telecommunications industry.

DSC provides an automated dialing program and phone system for contacting the elderly at their residents ensuring their well-being. This program is called CARE - Call Reassurance.

DSC has recently launched eCARE, which is an individual CARE service that can be provided through various community organizations such as police, sheriff and fire departments as well as through senior and retirement communities.

Because many groups would like to provide this type of service to their senior community, but do not have the budget or interest in maintaining their own telephone reassurance system, DSC has prepared a comparitive chart that demonstrates the difference between eCARE calling services and a traditional single line phone system.

Database Systems Corp. Call Center

One of the major advantages of our eCARE phone service is the fact that calls are initiated and controlled at our state-of-the-art call center. DSC began calling from this center in 2006. Database manages its own phone systems and its online web portals from within this controlled center.

DSC's call center is hosted at an offsite data and communications center managed by an independent facilities management company. The center provides ultra-secure access, hosting multiple phone carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, Centurylink, etc., each with built in redundancy. The center also has redundant power sources as well as environmental controls with backup systems.

DSC maintains multiple phone systems supporting hundreds of digital phone lines capable of making thousands of calls a minute. Our first eCARE calls were placed from this center in May, 2008 with virtually zero downtime.

Create Your eCARE Account

You can create and manage your eCARE account for free using our online registration process. With this account, you can enroll seniors and other community members using various different profiles:

Enter your organization's name, a valid email address along with your own password, and we will establish your eCARE account. eCARE can now be used as your primary calling program for seniors in your community or can be a backup to any other system that is currently making these calls. eCARE is a pay-as-you-go service and you only pay for the calls that we make.

You can now login and begin enrolling your seniors. For information about how to enroll members of your community, visit our eCARE Registration Info web page. Once you fund your account with a minimum of $25, eCARE will begin calling your activated enrollees according to the dates and times you establish for each senior.
